In a cave... For a Game Jam

In a cave... is the project I presented to the Uniday Jam 2021.

In this little game you need to escape the cave where you have been locked up. You will need to find items that will help you there. There are 2 game options, in the first you just need to find the items, in the second a guard is watching you, you'll need to avoid it while you collect the items, but if you're fast you can hit him while he's not looking. Use the arrow keys or the [w][a][s][d] keys to move.

I created this game with my own (and tiny) game engine here

• The guard model comes from the Alien Quake mod available here
• The cave image in the main menu comes from here
• The eye icon comes from here
• The other icons and textures, as well as the sounds, were created from several royalties free images and sounds I owned on my computer

The full game code source is available in the package. I compiled this game using Embarcadero RAD Studio 10.4 Sydney, and the GLEW and OpenAL third party libraries were used.
